There's a strange behavior that happens when a user adds a period with double-space at the end of a inclusive: false mark. In our app, it removes the mark entirely, but I easily reproduced an example where it behaves oddly. Demo app is here

I wasn't able to actually create an underline mark in your example app, but when I try this with a link mark in the regular demo, I don't see anything unexpected happen.
