Users do not want to understand a library before running it to see if it works.

Idiomatically, this is handled with the build standard script block entry.

No thanks, I prefer to just have prepare and test scripts in my projects. Pull requests to other people's packages to make them conform to your preferred setup might not be the best use of everybody's time.
